TRIO, TRIO+
and SDRUM

Three band-creator pedals on one form, which the client kept for its ergonomics and low manufacturing cost.

Outcome TRIO's success led to TRIO+, which added a looper, and to SDRUM on the same form.

TRIO

Form shaped around the footswitch, with controls spaced to prevent accidental presses
Custom buttons and light pipes: lower cost, more light
Lacquered graphics that shimmer as light moves across them

SDRUM · working name Beatbox

A crowded interface: laid out in Illustrator, checked in SolidWorks
Lit controls show state, so colour and lighting were designed together
Kick and snare pads with a cast profile for fast snap-back
