Chiropractic
tamper

A hand-held adjusting tool. Its damping system gives each strike the force the chiropractor sets, for quicker, easier and more consistent treatments.

Outcome The client reports it tripled their clientele.

Approach

  • Grip and striking ergonomics researched first
  • Hand data set the knob and grip sizes
  • A dial moves two magnets: close for the strongest strike, apart for the softest
  • Continuous prototyping and testing, with regular client meetings
  • Small batches fabricated in-house for testing and certification
